MY STORY

A journey towards specialist psychotherapy

I grew up in South London and have lived across the UK, as well as in Konstanz, Paris, and Brussels. Now, I am happily settled in London, where I live a peaceful life with my young family.

I qualified as a social worker in 2011, specialising in adoption. My work helping families build attachment bonds, supporting people through loss, and working with children affected by trauma, laid the foundation for everything I do today.

It taught me that the problems people bring to therapy are rarely just about one person. Problems live in relationships, in patterns passed down through families, in the stories we tell about ourselves. That insight led me to train as a Systemic Psychotherapist and it remains at the heart of how I work.

Over the years I have been privileged to work with hundreds of clients: individuals, couples and families, helping them build more fulfilling lives. I bring to every session the same things: curiosity, honesty, and an honest belief that change is possible.

Through Blackheath Psychotherapy, I donate a portion of practice profits each month to two charities I care about, UNFPA, which supports reproductive health and rights globally, and Plan International, which works to advance children's rights and equality for girls.

"I believe that early emotional experiences shape how we see the world, relate to others, and understand our place in it."
