SPECIALIST SUPPORT FOR NEURODIVERSE COUPLES (ADHD/ASD Relationship Dynamics)

Understanding the unique ways neurodiversity shapes relationships.

I work with individuals, couples and families where autism (ASD), ADHD, or AuDHD is part of the picture. Neurodiversity brings real strengths, creativity, intensity, a different way of seeing the world. But it can also create challenges in communication, relationships and everyday life that generic therapy often fails to address.

My approach is systemic, rather than focusing on the neurodivergent person as 'the problem', I look at the whole relationship system. For example, how does rejection sensitive dysphoria affect communication between partners? How does demand avoidance in an child with autism affect parental burnout? What is it like to be in a relationship with someone masking with autism or ADHD?

I have contributed to the book 'Supporting Autistic People With Eating Disorders' and have extensive experience working with neurodiverse individuals, couples and families across London and SE London, including Blackheath, Greenwich and Lewisham.

"Neurodiversity is not a deficit to be corrected. It's a different way of being in the world . Relationships can flourish when everyone understands each other better."

WHO I WORK WITH

Support for individuals, couples and families.

Autism Therapy London

Whether you are newly diagnosed or have known about your autism for years, therapy can help you understand yourself better, navigate relationships, and build a life that works for you. I offer a non-judgemental, curious space where your experience is taken seriously.

Autism in Women and Late Diagnosis

Many autistic adults, particularly women, go undiagnosed until their 30s, 40s or later. If you have recently received a late autism diagnosis, or suspect you may be autistic, therapy can help you make sense of your experience, understand yourself better, and begin to unpick years of masking and burnout.

Neurodivergent Couples Therapy

When one or more partners or family members are neurodivergent, it affects the whole relationship system. I work with couples and families to improve communication, reduce frustration, and find a way of being together that works for everyone, not just the neurotypical members. Specialising in ADHD relationship therapy and autistic relationship therapy.

ADHD Therapy London

Living with ADHD can affect relationships, work, self-esteem and daily functioning. I work with men and women, to understand how ADHD is shaping their lives and relationships, and to develop strategies that actually work for their specific situation.

ADHD affects men and women differently, and women with ADHD are frequently misdiagnosed or dismissed. Living with undiagnosed or newly diagnosed ADHD can affect your relationships, your work, your self-esteem and your sense of identity.

WHAT TO EXPECT

Therapy that works with your neurodiversity, not against it.

I understand that traditional therapy formats don't always work well for neurodivergent people. I adapt my approach to suit how you communicate and process information: whether that means more structure, more directness, or a different kind of space altogether.

I offer in-person sessions at my therapy room in Blackheath Village, SE London, easily accessible from Greenwich, Lewisham and across South East London, and secure online sessions for clients across London and the UK.

Individual sessions: £120

Couples/Family sessions: £160
