MY EXPERIENCE
Six years at the Maudsley Hospital Eating Disorders Service.
The Maudsley Hospital in London is one of the world's leading centres for eating disorder treatment. I have spent six years there as a Systemic Psychotherapist, working with individuals and families across both inpatient and outpatient services.

During that time I have worked with hundreds of people affected by anorexia nervosa, bulimia nervosa, ARFID, and related conditions. I am trained in Family Therapy for Anorexia Nervosa (FT-AN) and MANTRA, two of the most evidence-based approaches to eating disorder treatment available.

I have also contributed to the book 'Supporting Autistic People With Eating Disorders' and provided training nationally, and have been a guest speaker at international eating disorder conferences.
Eating disorders are not a choice. Recovery is possible, and it's much more achievable when families and partners are part of the process.
HOW I CAN HELP
Support for individuals, families and partners.
Families

When a family member has an eating disorder, it affects everyone. I work with the whole family to reduce blame and criticism, improve communication, and find a way to support recovery together. This is based on the evidence-based FT-AN model developed at the Maudsley Hospital.
Couples

An eating disorder can put enormous strain on a relationship. I work with couples to understand how the eating disorder is affecting their dynamic, reduce conflict, and find a way to support recovery together without one partner having to carry it alone.
Individuals

Whether you are struggling with anorexia, bulimia, or a difficult relationship with food, I offer a non-judgemental space to understand what's driving the eating disorder and work toward recovery, at your own pace, without blame.
WHAT TO EXPECT
Therapy that is honest, collaborative and free of blame.
My approach to eating disorder therapy is systemic, which means rather than seeing the eating disorder as belonging to one person, we look at the relationships, patterns and context around it. This reduces blame and opens up new possibilities for recovery.

Sessions are 50 minutes for individuals and 60-75 minutes for families and couples. I offer both in-person sessions at my therapy room in Blackheath Village, SE London, and secure online video sessions.
I work with clients across London and the South East, including Blackheath, Greenwich, Lewisham, and surrounding areas.
